We are pleased to welcome Jean Gordon, Legal Document Assistant to our team at Athena Financial Group. She is a Notary Public and as of June 2024 she has obtained her Certified Estate Planning Certificate, from California Association of Legal Document Assistants or CALDA. 

As an LDA she is an experienced professional who is authorized to prepare legal documents for a client, but only at the direction of the client. An LDA is here to assist the "self-help" client handle their legal matters without the cost of an attorney. An LDA may distribute to their customers legal materials that have been published or approved by an attorney. By law, LDA's cannot give you legal advice or represent clients in the courts in any matter. 

She can assist clients with document preparation in matters such as:

Jean's services are available to the public, but our clients will receive them at a lower cost. Jean is not an attorney.
